Occupational Health Technician
🚐 Occupational Health Technician – Peterborough
📍 Location: Peterborough (with UK-wide travel as needed)
💷 Salary: £24,000 – £27,000 per annum
🕒 Hours: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week (typically 8:30 am – 6:00 pm)
We're working with a leading Occupational Health provider who is looking to expand their technician team in the Peterborough area. You'll play a vital role in helping organisations keep their workforces safe, healthy, and supported — delivering health surveillance services directly to clients using a fully equipped Mobile Screening Unit.
🔍 What You'll Be Doing:
Driving a Mobile Health Unit to client sites, primarily around Peterborough (with flexibility to travel further across the UK when needed)
Carrying out key health surveillance checks including audiometry, lung function testing, blood pressure, urinalysis, and baseline measurements
Supporting with drug & alcohol testing (full training provided)
Maintaining accurate medical records and ensuring results are passed on to the appropriate clinical team
Assisting with health promotion activities and helping the wider team with occasional administrative tasks
✅ What We're Looking For:
A proactive, friendly individual with excellent communication skills
Someone organised, self-motivated, and confident working independently
A genuine interest in health, wellbeing, and workplace safety
A valid manual UK driving licence (essential)
Previous experience in healthcare, fitness, or wellness is ideal, but full training can be provided for the right candidate
